Access to Student Systems

PeopleSoft

Request Access

- Click on Student Records Security Authoriz.

In order to reach the form, the employee requesting access is required to complete the FERPA tutorial. A FERPA guide is also available for review prior to completing the tutorial. At the conclusion of the tutorial, the employee is asked to enter his/her name. When the new form is received in my office, it will be matched against the name the employee entered at the conclusion of the tutorial before the form is processed. This procedure is somewhat labor intensive. However, it better aligns the "U" with the expectations of The Department of Education by insuring that each employee has been instructed regarding FERPA before access to student records is granted.
