Returning to the U

The University of Utah understands that students face unique challenges while pursuing their degrees and sometimes need to discontinue their studies.  Yet, learning and earning a bachelor’s degree are rewarding experiences.  It can make a difference in finding meaningful or new employment, increasing earning potential, advancing in a current field, or accomplishing a personal goal.

Regardless of when you left the U, we are excited to welcome you back and help you with identifying academic options and student resources that will facilitate the completion of your degree.   Finishing your bachelor's degree can become a reality!

What is RTU?

The Returning to The U Program assists adult students who left the University close to graduation and now wish to return to complete a bachelor's degree.  Academic Advising Center advisors are available to help returning students with the transition back to the U, from readmission to graduation.
