Consider Presenting at a Conference!
As an advising professional, you have many skills and techniques that you employ on a daily basis. You might coordinate a program for a special student population. Why not tell your peers? Presenting at a conference is a great way to do that.
- Utah Advising and Orientation Conference (UAOA) has an annual conference in Utah. The Call for Proposals occurs in late Fall.
- NACADA Region Ten Conference has an annual conference in the region (Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico). A Call for Proposals occurs in mid Fall.
- The NACADA National Conference occurs each year with hundreds of presentations from across the U.S. and Canada. The Call for Proposals occurs earlier in the year with a February deadline.
