Academic Advising Center: Undecided / Exploring Students
Academic Advising Center’s mission is to advise students who are exploring majors and students who have experienced academic setbacks and need an academic standards appointment (regardless of major).
Are you undecided/exploring?
If you have decided on a major or are seeking information for a specific major, your needs are typically best met by an advisor in your college or department above. If our staff determine that advisors in your college can better meet your advising needs, we will refer you to your major advisor.
Zoom or phone appointments?
We are utilizing Zoom for most of our appointments. Through Zoom we can offer an engaged interactive experience where documents and resources can easily be shared. If this represents a barrier, please specifically request a phone appointment. (Note: You are not required to have your camera on during a Zoom appointment.)
Registration Hold? If you have a hold because of your GPA, please call 801-581-8146 to schedule an appointment.
New Student Who Has Not Attended Orientation? Advising and course registration will be included in your New Student Orientation.
New students should not schedule an advising appointment; instead,
