If you are a new Advisor and need access to PeopleSoft records including Advisor Notes, please follow the steps below!

 

Steps for PeopleSoft Security Access

  1. Complete the university's FERPA Review.

  2. Complete the New Advisor Form to be added to the Advisor Excellence Canvas course to complete required Advisor Notes training.
  3. Complete Advisor Education & Development Advisor Notes Training & Assignment (must get a score of 70% or higher).
  4. Once your FERPA and Advisor Notes training is complete, request a student records authorization form from the AAC.

  5. Return the form signed by you and your supervisor to the AAC. The AAC trainer will sign it and send it to the Registrar’s office. You will be notified once you have access. This process typically takes about 1-2 weeks.
