SLCC students, are you interested in studying Criminology or Sociology at the U of U? Plan to attend the latest lecture in the Transfer Symposium Series: Previously Un-submitted Sexual Assault Kits: Preliminary Results from Salt Lake County by Dr. Heather Melton of the U of U Sociology Department.

• Find out about Dr. Melton’s research on sexual assault kits (SAK) testing in Salt Lake County including barriers to SAK testing, the victim notification process, victim, offender and case characteristics and the implications of her research on policies and policing.
