Alternative Fall Break Experiences

 What is the Alt Break program?

The Alternative Breaks program engages University of Utah students, faculty, and staff in justice work and experiential learning over school breaks.

There are a variety of different formats from a full week to a weekend:

• Fall Break Experiences: Saturday, 10/9 to Saturday, 10/16
• Weekend Experiences: Friday, 10/22 to Sunday, 10/24
• AB Lite Experiences (Free, Local, & No Overnight): Friday, 10/22 to Sunday, 10/24

Topics include:

• Animal Advocacy and Rehabilitation in Kanab, UT
• Housing Justice in Seattle, WA
• Immigration in San Diego, CA
• School to Prison Pipeline in Salt Lake City, UT

and more!

Applications for Fall Break participation are due on August 27^th, 2021.
