Spring 2023 New Transfer Student Welcome!

Spring 2023 New Transfer Student Welcome on Tuesday January 17 from 10:30am to 1pm

Attention all new transfer students! We have an event just for you! This is information and connections we feel are most beneficial at the start of the Spring 2023 semester. Did you know that many scholarships for Fall semester are due at the end of January or beginning of February? Join the first part of the Welcome with a transfer workshop with presenters from 7 different scholarship granting offices! This is a great chance to hear from a wide variety of scholarship offices all at once. Workshop accessible in person or over Zoom. Everyone is welcome to get the scholarship information over Zoom. After the workshop, stay for a FREE lunch where you will have a chance to eat lunch with a variety of faculty and staff at the U of U that work directly with transfer students. This is a chance to get to know supportive faculty and offices on campus while having lunch. The Crimson Transfer Honor Society (CTHS) student organization will also be there doing a small service project and will also have some activities for children if you are a student parent.
