PreMed/PrePA Conference

If you are a current or prospective transfer student who plans on pursuing a post-graduate degree in medicine (PreMed) or as a physician’s assistant (PrePA), this conference is a great place to start putting your plans together and gathering important information.

 Hosted by the University of Utah and Utah Valley University, the 4th Annual PreMedical & PrePA Conference is a regional conference that is student run and organized. The mission of this conference is to provide PreMedical and PrePA students from the Intermountain West with meaningful insights on how they can best prepare for life in the medical field, as well as how to be competitive applicants for medical school. Attendees will have opportunities to interact with representatives from medical schools, physician assistant programs and various community organizations.

 This year’s conference theme is “Frontiers of Medicine.” There will be speakers and breakout sessions in subjects ranging from “Women in Medicine” to “MCAT Prep” to “Suture Clinic.”

 When: Saturday, February 23^rd, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
