Setup CIS
Once you have been accepted, set up your U of U Campus Information System (CIS) account. Check out the New Student Guide to Digital Resources for instructions on how to do this.
Confirm your Enrollment
Confirm your intent to enroll by paying your Enrollment Deposit. You are not fully admitted until you have completed this step.
Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
Scholarships, grants, and income share agreements are just the start of the funding options available to you.
Send a Final Transcript
Send a final transcript which includes your last semester grades and shows completion of all degrees and certifications.
Explore Housing Options
You have options! The U provides traditional dorms, student apartments, and off-campus housing. See which will be the best fit for you.
Get Registered
Sign up for Orientation
You cannot register for classes until you attend orientation, so attend the earliest session that you can.
Meet with an Advisor
If you know your major, meet with your major advisor. They will help you understand graduation requirements and assist you with setting up your class schedule.
If you are not sure of your major or have questions about U of U General Education requirements, meet with an advisor in the Academic Advising Center.
Run a Degree Audit
A degree audit will give you a full picture of where you stand in completing graduation requirements.
