Health and Physical Education Teaching

Program Description

This program is designed for students who want to pursue a career in health and physical education teaching at the K-12 grade level. It includes major classes from both the College of Health and the College of Education. This program will help prepare students for Utah teaching licensure upon graduation.

The Student Experience

Students will gain experience in the methods and curriculum in health and physical education teaching. They will have opportunities to spend time in local schools to observe and have teaching experiences.

Career Opportunities

Students completing this program will be prepared to pursue a Utah teaching license where they can pursue teaching jobs in health and physical education.
